How to install the XXODD MonoAir

The XXODD MonoAir is a full indoor monoblock air conditioner for heating, cooling, and dehumidification — with no outdoor unit and no installer required. This guide explains how to install, mount, and activate your MonoAir safely and correctly.
1. Before You Begin
Included Components
- XXODD MonoAir unit
- Wall mounting template
- Mounting screws & plugs
- Indoor & outdoor covers
- Duct sleeves / pipes
- Sealing strips
- Fixing plate
- Power cable (pre-attached)
Tools Required
- Drill with hole saw (∅ 160
- mm recommended)
- Level
- Pencil / Marker
- Screwdriver
- Measuring tape
- Silicone sealant (optional)
2. Choose the Installation Location
Installation Height
- 20 cm clearance above the unit
- 10 cm clearance below
- 10 cm clearance on both sides
Recommended locations
- Living rooms
- Bedrooms
- Home offices
- Apartments without
- outdoor AC possibilities
Avoid:
- Behind furniture
- Behind curtains
- Direct sunlight exposure
- Close proximity to stoves,
- radiators, or heat sources
3. Mark the Drill Holes
- Use the included wall template to mark:
- The two duct positions
- The mounting points
- Use a level to ensure the template is straight.
- Trace the holes clearly.
4. Drill the Wall Openings
- Drill two circular holes through the exterior wall.
- Keep a slight downward slope toward the outside to prevent condensation from entering the room.
- Remove all dust and debris after drilling.
5. Install the Duct Sleeves
- Place the insulation / sealing strips around each duct sleeve.
- Slide each sleeve into the wall holes until fully seated.
- Apply sealant (optional) around the exterior side for airtightness.
- Attach the indoor and outdoor covers.
6. Install the Wall Bracket & Fixing Plate
- Drill and insert wall plugs where marked.
- Screw the mounting plate firmly to the wall.
- Ensure the mounting plate is level and fully secure.
7. Mounting the MonoAir
- Lift the MonoAir and align the unit’s rear ports with the installed ducts.
- Slide the unit onto the mounting plate until it clicks into place.
- Ensure:
- The ducts are aligned
- The unit is flush against the wall
- No gaps or air leaks are visible
8. Electrical Connection
The XXODD MonoAir is a plug-and-play device.
- Plug the unit into a standard 220–240V outlet.
- Ensure the outlet:
- Is grounded
- Has no damage
- Can support the rated power draw
9. First-Time Setup
WiFi & App
- Download the XXODD App.
- Create your account.
- Add a new device → MonoAir.
- Connect to your WiFi network.
- Test:
- Heating
- Cooling
- Silent Mode (39 dB)
- Automation settings
10. Operating Modes
Cooling Mode
Efficient cooling for summer conditions.
Heating Mode
Heat pump + optional PTC boost up to 1000W (as shown in the spec sheet).
Silent Mode
Ultra-quiet at 39 dB for bedrooms or night use.
Dehumidification
Removes moisture up to 0.8 L/h.
Smart Climate Control
Automatically balances comfort and efficiency using indoor sensors.
Solar-Optimized Mode
Uses your own solar energy first when available.
11. Maintenance
- Clean or replace every 3–6 months
- Access by opening the front panel
- Ensure indoor and outdoor vents remain unobstructed
- Use a soft cloth
- Do not use chemical cleaners
12. Troubleshooting
- Check outlet

- Ensure ducts are not blocked
- Check airflow direction
