How to install the XXODD QuickCharge
1. Before You Begin
Included in the Box

- 5m charging cable (Type 2)
- Mounting screws & plugs

Tools Required
- Drill + bits
- Screwdriver
- Pencil
- Level
- Tape measure
2. Choose the Installation Location
The XXODD QuickCharge is IP65-rated, meaning it can be installed:
✔ Indoors
✔ Outdoors
✔ Garage / Carport / Driveway wall
Choose a location where:
- Your car’s charging port is within cable distance (5m cable)
- The wall can support the device
- The socket (Schuko or CEE depending on model) is within reach
- The emergency stop button remains accessible (red button on right side)
Avoid:
- Direct, constant exposure to standing water
- Highly dusty or corrosive environments
- Flammable gas areas
3. Mounting the QuickCharge
- Mark the drill holes
Hold the wall bracket (or the charger if direct-mount) against the wall and mark the screw positions. - Drill the holes
Use the correct drill bit for your wall type. - Insert wall plugs
Ensure plugs fit tightly for maximum stability. - Install the bracket
Level the bracket and screw it firmly to the wall. - Mount the charger
Hang or attach the QuickCharge to the bracket, then tighten the screws so the unit is secure and flush.
4. Connecting the Power
The QuickCharge is plug-and-play, so no electrician is required.
- Insert the power plug into your wall socket (depending on model, 220V–380V).
- Ensure the socket is:
- Grounded
- Free of damage
- Rated for the expected load (up to 32A depending on the model)
- Switch the safety button on the side of the device to ON.
The LED indicator will light up, showing the device is powered.
5. First-Time Setup (WiFi)
The QuickCharge works fully through WiFi.
- Download the XXODD App (iOS / Android).
- Create your account.
- Add a new device → Select QuickCharge.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the charger to your WiFi network.
- Name your charger and confirm setup.
When connected, the app enables:
- Smart Charging Control
- Scheduling
- Dynamic tariff optimization
- Solar-ready mode
- Energy monitoring
6. Smart Charging Control
Smart Charging Control allows you to pre-set your arrival and departure times.
The QuickCharge will:
- Automatically choose the lowest-cost charging moments within that timeframe
- Always ensure the battery is ready when you need it
- Prioritize solar power when available
This reduces charging costs and ensures optimal battery use.
7. Charging Your Car
- Take the Type 2 connector from the holder.
- Insert it firmly into your vehicle’s charging port.
- The LED will show charging status:
- Green pulsing → Charging
- Solid green → Fully charged
- Red → Error (check cable or app)
- When finished, unplug and return the connector to the holder.

9. Maintenance
The QuickCharge requires minimal maintenance:
- Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth
- Do not use corrosive cleaners
- Inspect the cable for wear
- Ensure vents are not blocked
- Test the emergency stop button periodically
10. Troubleshooting
No power / LED off
- Check wall socket
- Ensure plug is connected
- Ensure safety button is ON
- Try a different outlet
WiFi not connecting
- Move the router closer
- Connect to a 2.4 GHz network
- Restart the device and try pairing again
Charging stopped unexpectedly
- Check car settings
- Check socket load limit
- Inspect cable connection
